Mr. Sanders' areas of practice include corporate law, corporate litigation, business litigation, and complex litigation. Mr. Sanders also has considerable experience in automobile franchising and the establishment, sale and purchase of automobile dealerships and other businesses.

While at USC, Mr. Sanders defrayed a portion of his educational expense by working at part-time jobs, including service as an Aide in the South Carolina State Senate for four years and as Instructor of Accounting at Palmer Business College.

Civic & Charitable Activities

Mr. Sanders' civic and community activities include membership in the Greenville Jaycees in which he served as President, member of the Board of Directors, and he held several other offices and significant chairmanships. He is a member of the Greenville Jaycee Hall of Fame and the JCI Senate; has served on the Miss South Carolina Executive Committee and as legal counsel to the Miss South Carolina Pageant.

Mr. Sanders has served at various times as Vice President of Governmental Affairs, Chairman of the Business Ethic Committee, General Counsel and member of the Board of Directors of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce; a member of Mayor’s Citizens Advisory Committee for the Certified Workable Program and Chairman of Sub-committee on Housing Codes and Enforcement; a member of Board of Directors of Community Foundation of Greater Greenville; a member of Greenville’s All American City Committee; a member of Board of Directors of Kiwanis Club of Greenville; a member of Housing and Urban Renewal Committee; a member of the Greenville County Commission on Alcoholism; a member of Carolina Scholars Scholarship Selection Committee; a member of Board of Directors of Greenville Art Museum; President of Greenville Literacy Association; a member of the Board of Directors of The Commerce Club; and as a member of the Greenville Symphony Board of Directors.

  • While in Law School, Mr. Sanders served as President of the USC Law Federation (the student body organization) and Justice and Secretary of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
