James L. Rogers, Jr.

Mr. Rogers practices primarily in the areas of corporate transactions and immigration law, with a particular focus on international business issues.  He speaks Spanish and Portuguese in addition to his native English.  His corporate practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions as well as the formation of business entities and drafting of commercial agreements.  Mr. Rogers has advised many non-U.S. companies on the legal and business aspects of setting up operations in America.  Mr. Rogers has worked as a foreign associate for the law firm of Jauregui Navarrete y Nader in Mexico City as well as the law firm of Tozzini Freire Teixeira e Silva in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

• Mr. Rogers is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. While in law school, Mr. Rogers served as Managing Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, was a member of the Order of the Coif and Wig and Robe Honor Societies, and won the Southeast Regional Division of the National Trial Competition.
