At Clemson University, Ms. Newsom was a member of the Calhoun Honors College and the Golden Key National Honor Society. While in law school, she was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal, where she authored a casenote published in Spring 2002. In 2003, Ms. Newsom was graduated with a joint degree of Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
