Robert D. Moseley, Jr.

Mr. Moseley concentrates in civil litigation and is also the Chairman of the firm’s Transportation Practice Group representing trucking companies and their insurance carriers, with disputes involving commercial transportation accidents, federal & state safety regulations, commercial insurance coverage disputes, freight claims, and other disputes involving trucking companies. He has tried over 60 cases to jury verdict in federal & state courts of unlimited jurisdiction.

In representing the transportation industry, a good portion of Mr. Moseley’s practice is devoted to serving insurance companies, specifically including the defense of catastrophic automobile accidents, and other cases being defended by insurance carriers. He is also active in pursuing and defending insurance coverage disputes. Of particular interest is his work in the field of uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage and navigating the peculiar laws affecting these coverages in South Carolina. Mr. Moseley is also versed in disputes (including worker's compensation) involving owner-operators.

Mr. Moseley also serves as the head of litigation for the firm.

Rob and his wife Robin have six children. They attend Sovereign Grace Church.

• Mr. Moseley graduated first in his class from The Citadel with a 4.0 GPA. He graduated second in his class at University of South Carolina School of Law, receiving five American Jurisprudence Awards. While attending The Citadel, Mr. Moseley was a letterman on the Varsity Wrestling Team.
