Founded in 1945, Leatherwood grew by representing national and regional insurance carriers and advising national and international manufacturing and textile concerns. With solid expansion of commerce into Upstate South Carolina, Leatherwood’s steady, measured growth over the last sixty years has enabled it to meet the business needs of the increasingly diverse industries which have established locations along the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte. The firm’s central location between these two major financial and commercial centers also facilitates efficient handling of client matters across the Carolinas and Georgia.
